My apologies for the short notice. Tomorrow is an online event where Vasilka Paunova<https://www.bib.uni-mannheim.de/ihre-ub/ansprechpersonen/vasilka-paunova/> will present the factsheets from the NFDI Section ELSA<https://www.nfdi.de/section-elsa/>. Vasilka Paunova ist speaker of the section and Legal Counsel für BERD at NFDI und FDZ, hence one of the few experts for legal aspects in the field of RDM.

Developed by the ELSA Working Group Data Protection, the factsheet series consists of three separate outputs focusing on specific aspects of the main topic, namely "FAIR-Principles and Data Protection. How can FAIR data management be reconciled with the General Data Protection Regulation?".

With the development of these practical guidelines, the Working Group aims to support researchers and illustrate the interplay between the FAIR framework and the privacy requirements in RDM, demonstrating that the two frameworks supplement each other.
Thus, researchers can learn how to comply with both frameworks, identify legal issues in their research projects, and use various tools and resources for self-education.

Currently in German, the factsheets will soon be published in English as well. The Working Group is also planning three new additions to the series.
