Dear RDM Community,

There ist a working group in the DINI/nestor initiative that focuses on research data, specifically on training and developing data competences (https://www.forschungsdaten.org/index.php/UAG_Schulungen/Fortbildungen). They develop  a training plan for research data management (learning objectives matrix for research data management, https://zenodo.org/records/15846806). To introduce the new version they will have an online event (25th November 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00). If your responsibility includes Training this would be a relevant event.

Dear RDM community,
We are pleased to invite you to an information event on the new English version of the learning objectives matrix for research data management (https://zenodo.org/records/15846806), which is a translation of Version 3.0 of the original German publication of earlier this year.
This virtual event will take place on Tuesday, the 25th November 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00; it will be held in English.

This event is aimed at anyone who is tasked with designing RDM-related training courses and/or learning materials and in need to formulate the corresponding learning objectives. We also want to give an overview of the new features to those who are already familiar with previous versions of the matrix.
The following points will be addressed:

  *   Vision and mission
  *   How to use
  *   Application scenarios
  *   Subject-specific adaptations
  *   Question and answer session


We would like to inform all interested persons that the presentation will be recorded for future reference.
