Unfortunately, the notice did not go out to the mailing list due to email 
difficulties.  I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused. 
The meeting was held, and the chat has been posted at

The next meeting will be held on Monday, 2 January 2017.  There is a 
problem for me after the January meeting because I am teaching on Mondays 
and Thursdays at the time of the meeting, starting on 1/9/2017.
