Our next meeting of the SWAO SIG will take place Monday February 02, 
10:00 am EDT / 7:00am PDT / 4:00pm CET / 1500 GMT/UTC.

Agenda:

Our main items for discussion this month are:

a. Follow-up on the idea of creating a “Stack Overflow” type of site as 
discussed in January

b. Issue of the Journal of Applied Ontology

Here’s the full agenda (we’ll cover the standing items if time allows):

1. Housekeeping

·Wiki indexing / query functionality (only seems to list up to Dec 2014 
still)

·Publicizing the blog - see http://iaoaswao.blogspot.co.uk/

·Follow-up on last month's discussion about linking to IAOA URL structure

·Idea about creating a "Stack Overflow" type of page for Ontology

2. Issue of the Journal of Applied Ontology

·Status update - we now have the details for this

·Next actions

oWe did not manage to discuss this at the January meeting

oThis will be the main focus of today's meeting.

3. Tutorial / training material and media

·White paper for business people

·Introductory online/training tutorial

oFeedback from Education Committee

o"Gentle introduction to ontologies" – availability

·Book - continue discussion / where were we on this?

4. Consensus Building

·Role for this SIG to maintain a kind of wiki resource which identifies 
consensus, references.

oThis would be a role for the "Stack Overflow" idea noted above

·Existing resources we would want to collate and promote

·Should we aim to maintain a library?

·Knowledge base and list of knowledgeable individuals, and understand 
current work, projects and interests

5. Membership, recruitment etc.

·Things we can do now the infrastructure is sorted out

·Brainstorm and share information about people and projects relevant to 
this SIG

oTerminology and related science

oInternet of Things

oCognitive Computing

·Reach out them to make them aware of our existence

·Maybe invite them for a talk or an informal chat
