A reminder of this Thursday's session for Ontology Summit 2016:

GeoScience and Semantic Interoperability

Report on activities such as NSF’s EarthCube that feature different 
GeoScience domains working on semantic interoperability issues to 
promote understanding of the state of the art across different 
approaches and what challenges remain.

- Adila Krisnadhi (Wright State) Dealing with semantic heterogeneity in 
data integration using modular ontology patterns
- Matthew Mayernik (UCAR) Building Geoscience Semantic Applications 
Using Established Ontologies
