Hi Laure,

yes the notification email arrived at iaoa.mofficer@gmail.com

the problems I see are:

(1) one needs to look at the profile of the member after every
update (even though the update does not impact the email), if
members do not often update their profile this is ok, otherwise...
but we can test in this way and see what happens

(2) it is not clear to me how I can understand if the email has been
updated, i.e., I'm not sure the system shows the old and the new
email. Do we need to take track of the emails of the members. Maybe
on can uses the email in the mailing list, but this means that one
needs to access the mailing list and the administration manager to
understand if the email has been changed

ciao

Hi Claudio, hi Frank (hi all).

I might have solved the issue already. The plugin suggested did
not have that possibility (got a negative reply), but I have
found another plugin (Notifications) that is able to send a
message when a user profile is updated. Of course, this will
catch any change, not just an email change.

I have installed it, and it works. It should have sent the
notification below to membership-officer@iaoa.org
(in addition to test address laurevieu@gmail.com).

Please confirm you have received it both, as I assume the
secretary gets the forward.

If so, please tell me if this sort of message is enough for
handling the email changes.
